I’m Pilar, a design leader based in Berlin with over 20 years of experience working in Design, in a journey that took me from illustration to print to digital experiences, solving complex problems, driving innovation, and empowering teams.

I’m passionate about technology and design and create meaningful products that improve somehow the work and life of people. Beyond crafting products, I thrive on mentoring, inspiring, and building collaborative teams that deliver real value. I am very proud of the work that my teams do, and it’s very rewarding to see how they keep growing.

In recent years, I worked at Spotify, where I led design teams within the Platform Mission. My work focused on building Backstage and internal tools for Spotify’s engineers, as well as leading the team responsible for partner integrations. We crafted experiences for both consumers and creators on partner platforms.

Before Spotify, I was the Director of Product Design at MURAL. There, I designed strategic features to drive the PLG engine, using design thinking and data-driven decision-making to tackle challenges around acquisition, retention, and monetization.
